What is a personalised bedtime story?

A clear guide to the choices, boundaries and reading experience behind TaleLuna.

A personalised bedtime story is a parent-guided story shaped by details a family chooses. With TaleLuna, a parent selects a child’s age, interests, language, story length and subjects to avoid; the result is an illustrated story for an adult to read together with that child.

A family can choose English, German, Italian or European Spanish for each child profile. Stories are written and reviewed in the selected language rather than shown as a machine translation of another version.

A clear boundary

TaleLuna supports a family reading routine. It is not medical, psychological or therapeutic advice, and no automated system can guarantee that every detail will suit every child. A parent or caregiver should read a story before sharing it.

Questions parents ask about personalised bedtime stories

Short answers to the questions that matter before you decide whether the service suits your family.

What makes a bedtime story personalised?

A personalised bedtime story uses choices from the parent, such as the child’s age, interests, language, reading length and topics to avoid, to shape a new story for that family.

Does TaleLuna read stories aloud to children?

No. TaleLuna prepares a story for a parent or caregiver to read and share with the child. It is designed to support shared reading, not replace it.

Can I choose the story language?

Yes. Each child profile can use English, German, Italian or European Spanish. The selected language is used for new stories, delivery emails and new storybooks.

Is TaleLuna suitable for every child?

TaleLuna is for children aged 3 to 12, but every child is different. Parents can set preferences and topics to avoid, then use their own judgement before sharing a story.
