FAQ
The essentials, clearly answered.
These are the product principles, plan details and parent controls that guide TaleLuna from the start.
What is TaleLuna?
TaleLuna is a personal bedtime-story service for parents. It uses parent-guided details to create a new English story and illustration for a child, ready for the parent to read aloud.
Who is it for?
The first edition is designed for children aged 3 to 12 and their families in the European Union outside Hungary.
Does TaleLuna read stories to my child?
No. TaleLuna is made to support reading together, not replace it. The story arrives for the parent or caregiver to share at bedtime.
How is a story personalised?
Parents can set interests, story length, gentle boundaries and other preferences. These guide the story without making each evening feel like the same story again.
Can I change the preferences later?
Yes. A child’s profile is expected to change as their interests, routines and needs change.
Which languages are available?
English is first. German, Italian and Spanish are planned as separate native story-language packs, rather than direct translations.
What are the plans?
One Child is €5.49 a month for one child profile. Family is €9.99 a month for up to four child profiles. Both begin with a three-day free trial.
Will I be charged during the trial?
No. Stripe securely collects a card to start the trial, but the first charge is only made after the three-day trial unless you cancel beforehand.
Can I cancel?
Yes. You can manage or cancel your subscription through the secure Stripe customer portal. TaleLuna never stores card details.
What information does TaleLuna use?
We use the parent-account and child-profile details you choose to provide to operate the service and create stories. Our Privacy Notice explains the data, providers, retention and your rights in plain language.
Can I delete my account?
Yes. In Account, you can permanently delete the parent account, child profiles, stories, images, favourites and feedback. An active Stripe subscription is cancelled first, while a minimal anonymised service record may remain where needed for legal or security reasons.
What if I change my mind after starting?
You can cancel in Stripe at any time. EU consumers may also have statutory withdrawal rights; our Terms explain how early trial access and those rights work together.
