1. About TaleLuna and these terms
These Terms of Service govern the TaleLuna service provided by Veres Tamas e.v., Hungarian sole proprietor, of Sziget utca 35, 8000 Szekesfehervar, Hungary. Registration number: 62471815. Hungarian tax number: 92154939-1-27.
By creating an account, beginning a trial, purchasing a plan or using TaleLuna, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.
2. Who may use TaleLuna
TaleLuna is offered to adults in the European Union outside Hungary who are acting as a parent, guardian or caregiver for a child aged 3 to 12. You must provide accurate account information and keep access to your email account secure.
Children must not create accounts or receive sign-in links. You are responsible for deciding what profile information is appropriate to provide and for reading the stories with the child.
3. What the service does
TaleLuna uses the preferences you provide to create English-language bedtime stories and illustrations. Stories are intended for calm, parent-led reading together. They are not medical, psychological, educational, safeguarding or therapeutic advice.
AI-generated content can occasionally contain mistakes or unsuitable details. Please use your judgment before sharing a story and update the profile boundaries or contact support if something needs attention.
4. Profiles, account safety and acceptable use
Keep profile details current, use the service lawfully and do not submit content that is unlawful, infringes another person's rights, contains sensitive personal information, or is intended to bypass safety controls. Do not share account access outside your household.
We may suspend or restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect children, prevent fraud or abuse, comply with law, or protect the security and reliability of the service. We will explain the reason where appropriate and lawful to do so.
5. Plans, trial and payment
TaleLuna offers a One Child plan and a Family plan. Current plan prices, included child-profile limits, currency and trial terms are shown on the pricing page and in Stripe Checkout. The information shown at Checkout controls if it differs from an earlier marketing page.
A three-day free trial is available to eligible new customers. Stripe collects a payment method to begin the trial, but no subscription charge is made during the trial unless Stripe clearly shows otherwise. Unless you cancel before the trial ends, the subscription renews monthly at the price shown in Checkout, plus any applicable tax shown there.
Stripe processes payment and provides the secure customer portal used to update payment details, cancel a subscription or manage the plan. TaleLuna does not store card numbers.
6. Cancellation, withdrawal and refunds
You may cancel a subscription at any time in the Stripe customer portal. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid billing period unless Stripe states otherwise. Your statutory consumer rights are not limited by these terms.
If you are a consumer in the EU, you may have a statutory right to withdraw from a distance contract within 14 days. By asking us to begin profile setup, trial access and story delivery before that period ends, you expressly request early performance of the service. Where a statutory right remains available, any payment or reimbursement is handled in accordance with applicable law. Contact us before cancelling if you wish to exercise a statutory right.
The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform is no longer available. If a concern cannot be resolved with us, you may seek information about an appropriate consumer dispute-resolution body through the European Commission's consumer-redress resources or your local consumer authority.
7. Delivery, availability and changes
Delivery is scheduled according to the child profile's selected time zone and local hour. Provider outages, email filtering, safety review or technical maintenance can delay a story. We will use reasonable efforts to restore the service and keep the story library available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability.
We may change the service to improve safety, security, legal compliance or performance. If a material change negatively affects a paid subscription, we will provide the notice required by applicable law and explain available options.
8. Content and intellectual property
You may use delivered stories and illustrations privately within your household, including printing a storybook for personal use. Do not resell, publish, train models on, or commercially exploit the service or its output without our written permission.
TaleLuna, its software, design and service materials remain our or our licensors' property. You retain responsibility for the information you submit and grant us the limited rights needed to operate, secure and improve the service.
9. Liability and support
Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Subject to that rule, TaleLuna is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of AI-generated content, email delivery delays, third-party provider failure, or a parent's decision about how to use a story.
For account, payment or service questions, contact ${taleLunaOperator.contactEmail} or use the in-app Support page. We will review messages in English.
10. Governing law and changes to these terms
These terms are governed by Hungarian law, without depriving EU consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of habitual residence. Any dispute may be brought before the courts or authorities available under applicable mandatory consumer law.
We may update these terms when required by law or when the service changes. The updated version will be published here with a new effective date. Continued use after a material update may require renewed acceptance where the law requires it.
